GAME PROJECT:
IT'S A NO SHOES GAME
In this game, two teams of two work together to capture all of the flags before the other team. Inspired by Twister, Capture the Flag and other larger type physical games, participants are prompted to physically intertwine as the game progresses and increase collaborative strategy. Because the playing field is precarious, participants must also keep aware of their balance as they move from flag to flag.
My role was one of five team members that created and tested the play of the game. We started with a common interest in camp-style physical challenges and a deck of cards. Together we suggested new iterations and tested them live until we got a combination of rules that created
a flowing mechanical that was fun for the participants
and people watching.
