WHERE THIS ALL STARTED

As an illustrator and designer, I felt that I wasn't getting far enough with using illustration as just a method of representation. I wanted to find a way to shift the strengths of this practice into a more collaborative space. As a result of this process, I began to consider combining the best of the visual mechanics of illustration with facilitation to be used in a variety of situations that capture the story in plural.

I think there is an internal need among designers to have the tools to respond to the expectation that they shift from static object production to formalized design experiences.

Multiple stakeholders with unique core stakes that form around a central theme or problem can benefit from design activities that exposes their core interests and work to build consensus through use of visual methodologies, in particular those around visual storytelling formats.
